It seems that somebody (once again) is trying to make a fortune off of a famous cartoonist's estate. The victim this time is Carl Barks.
Here's some of the 'collectibles' that are now being auctioned from Barks' estate...
His own copies of his stories...
... A birthday card of his?
... His drawing easel?!
... Oh gross, even his Disney Legends and Charles M. Schulz Awards?!
Shouldn't this stuff be going into a museum? Do his descendents have any say in this? Even if they don't, where are they to protect these artifacts of one of America's greatest cartoonists from going into the closet of some packrat (Sogturtle)? Sure makes me wonder what's going to happen to anything of mine when I die...
